A készülékbe bele kell fújni, teljes erőből, és gyorsan, ami nem megy azonnal, gyakorolni kell, viszont a helyes méréshez, illetve annak helyes értékeléséhez a páciensnek tényleg a lehető legjobb teljesítményt kell megpróbálnia. Ezért kell gyakorolni a befújást.
