BrainLAB refers to the eective leaf gap test as the \Measurement of dynamic leaf shift". The dynamic leaf shift describes an effective leaf shift due to the leaf end design. Intenzitásmodulált sugárterápia (IMRT)
A hagyományos sugárkezelésnél konformálisabb besugárzást eredményezı módszer, melynek során sok kis mezıbıl történik a besugárzás. Szerintem nem szelet az, hanem levél - tudom szó szerinti fordítás, de ami már egyszer a szakik nyelvezetébe belekerült, és azt használják, azt nem érdemes megváltoztatni.

Az újraszámítás mindössze hét percig tart. Mivel eközben a páciens testhelyzete nem változik, az Artiste gyorsítóhoz tartozó 160MLC (multi-leaf collimator: sokleveles kollimátor, azaz sugárnyaláb-formáló eszköz) segítségével elvégezhető a besugárzás pontosan a tumorra irányítva és a környező ép szöveteket megkímélve.
