The DGH 4000B embodies all the design characteristics desired in a pachymeter.
It has an integral printer, which not only lists out the readings but also where they were
taken. There is an internal memory allowing for editing up to thirty-three measurement
points prior to print-out, an ability to program up to eight different mapping formats,
and two self test modes - one for the unit and one for the solid tip probe. Also included
is audible feedback to indicate a measurement has been obtained, rejection of readings
beyond ten degrees of perpendicularity, provision to pre-set a bias for automatic blade
setting calculation, and automatic averaging of rings.
Simple to use. No complicated setup procedures to follow - very user friendly.
