Nem fordítanám le a burst szót, mert ez egy szakszöveg, amint a mondatból felsejlik. Az oxidatív robbanás egyrészről naqgyon félreérthető (robbanás = explózió, itt arról van szó, hogy az oxidatív gyökök koncentrációja robbanásszerűen megnövekszik (lásd: burst into flower, burst i,to tears, azt sem fordítjuk virágba, vagy könnyekre "robbant"-nak)), másrészről akiron referenciái is fontosnak tartották angolul odaírni zárójelben, hogy a kedves olvasó megértse miről is van szó.
