English term or phrase: " a crush "
This is a work in progress aimed at younger teenage girls, hence the language cannot be too crude or old-fashioned, here is the dialogue :

"My mum says I have a crush on him. A crush! What's
that when it's at home?"

yes, "when it's at home" is also causing problems....

A "when it's at home" kifejezéssel segíthet http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/when_it's_at_home .... magyarul lehetne: tulajdonképpen, valójában

agree  Ildiko Santana: This is the correct interpretation and translation of both "I have a crush on him"/"bele vagyok esve" and "when it's at home"/"valójában." :)

  -> Köszönöm!

neutral  Peter Boskovitz: "What's that when it's at home?" = „(De vajon) hogy nevezik ezt hétkoznapi nyelven?” Ezt azért kérdezi, mert nem érti. Mégis melyik tini értetlenkedne arra, hogy „belezúgni”?
2 hrs
-> Szerintem a "crush" nem kevésbé ismert mint a "belezúgás". Ha a "crush"-t nem ismeri egy tini, akkor azon sem lepődünk meg, ha a "belezúgást" sem... :-)

fellángolás

Explanation:
Anyám szerint ez csak egy fellángolás. Fellángolás! Egyáltalán mi az?

belehabarodtam

Explanation:
Anyu szerint belehabarodtam. Belehabardás? Az meg mi fán terem? (Ezt most mégis hogy értsem? / Mi ennek a dolognak a normális hétköznapi neve?)

Anya szerint vonzódom a sráchoz. Vonzódom! Ezt most hogy értsem?

agree  Balázs Sudár: Igen, valami "anyás" szó kell ide, de a belahabarodás egy kicsit talán már öreganyás. // A vonzódom tényleg jó. De szerintem itt inkább a heves, ámde múlékony vonzalomra utal. (védeni nem tudom)
2 mins

neutral  Ildiko Santana: I agree with Balázs, no young girl would use "belehabarodtam" in this situation. That word is now reserved for "oldies" (no offense!) :)
1 hr
-> The suggested word is meant to be awkward and outdated ("My mum says..."). Notice that the speaker finds "crush" being rather too inconceivable.
