Nem vagyok otthon a hajózás területén, így nem tudom mi a kifejezés rá. A talált anyagok alapján arról van szó, hogy a hajón annak az államnak a zászlaja mindig felvonva kell hogy legyen, ahol regisztrálva van. Csak ebben az esetben lehet jogosult gazdasági (anyagi) segítség igénylésére az adott államtól. Az általam talált szövegek EU-ra vonatkoznak.

Gyakorlatilag a zászló, bárhol is tartózkodjon, összekapcsolja a hajót az állammal, ahol regisztrálva van. Így itt a "link" erre a kapcsolatra utal és nem fizikai dologra, mint pl. a "chain-link".

Asker: Köszi szépen! Hasznosak, amiket találtál. EU-s szövegben van ez is. Én is úgy gondoltam, hogy a lobogó kapcsolódásáról van szó.
