A "moulting birds" pontosan fordításban vedlő madarak. A kérdés a "for multing birds" volt, tehát vedlő madarak számára. A kérdező megemlíti hogy itt a madarak etetéséről van szó, azért írtam be a vedlő madarak etetése kifejezést is.
