I think there is an Indonesian term that describes writable surfaces, such as note pads and envelopes, but not writing instruments such as pens and pencils.

But it slips my mind, and the only translation I can find in the dictionary for 'stationery' is 'alat tulis menulis,' which is not quite what I have in mind.
