I have been interpreting for many events and I would not be able to translate this word, because I cannot find the suitable translation. I keep using the English word.
The speaker would say something like this : This is also happening in many developing and emerging economies.
Many Indonesian speakers would also do the same if speaking in Bahasa Indonesia:
Di banyak negara berkembang dan emerging economy .......that one term stays the same.
