English to Italian translations [PRO] Marketing - Advertising / Public Relations / online survey | | English term or phrase: dial | On the following page, you will be asked to view a television commercial
Please watch the ad and allow yourself to respond as naturally as possible. As you watch, we want you to make a continuous rating of your interest at each moment by using your mouse to move the slider handle (located in the center of the dial). There is a number below the slider handle which shows the rating value as you move the handle to the left or the right. Below is an example of the slider control you will be using to rate your interest in the commercial.
The dial can change gradually so that you can indicate even small changes in your interest at each moment while you are watching the commercial.Take a moment to practice with the example slider on this page by clicking and dragging the handle to different positions. When you are finished with your practice, you will move to the next page to rate the television commercial. |

"It's an interview. The movie's director is speaking about his creature: «And so we made him smaller and almost just like turned up the cute dial almost too much.»"
Risposta data da un madre lingua:
"Turned up the cute dial" - E' una metafora.
Ecco perchè ho pensato a "regolatore".
