English to Italian translations [PRO]

Nel documentario che sto traducendo, sul ruolo dell'aviazione nella storia bellica dalle origini alla II Guerra Mondiale, si parla spesso di "airfields". Airfields che vengono attaccati, bombardati e/o distrutti.
Aeroporti mi sembra poco preciso, perché il mio immaginario sulla seconda guerra mondiale (proveniente soprattutto dai film americani) sono campi, più che aeroporti molto strutturati.
E' appropriato chiamarli aeroporti comunque? |
