Farei il ragionamento a rovescio in italiano, perché in inglese lo stress è sull'atto di raccogliere (harvesting) allo scopo di integrare i residui, mentre a me pare che si debba sottolineare l'atto di "integrare" i residui.
Alla bisogna intendo "per questo scopo".
