La forma del "gablet roof" si vede in fondo a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hip_roof#Half-hip_roof. Cerco proposte su come rendere il verbo gable qui sopra.

Temo che dovrai ricorrere a una perifrasi, tipo:

"è possibile realizzare una copertura a falde a doppia inclinazione raccordando il piano falda di inclinazione minore alle due estremità della porzione di tetto sovrastante."

O "... al filo falda delle due estremità..."

Per roof plane si intende il piano falda.
