English term or phrase: flotty

Il testo è.. tosto... ;) servirebbe sapere di che luogo stiamo parlando, visto che il termine fa riferimento a una costruzione tradizionale del posto. Poiché è tra virgolette, immagino si tratti di una terminologia locale, per cui qualsiasi tentativo di traduzione che non tenga conto della consuetudine locale rischia di diventare un erroraccio. In assenza di riferimenti, io utilizzerei l'inglese E le virgolette (o il corsivo, a seconda delle convenzioni tipografiche che usi). Se è un paese in cui si parla l'inglese, magari il termine è in uso solo lì... Forse un po' di contesto in più aiuterebbe..
