English term or phrase: seed pearls

Come nelle due domande precedenti, si tratta della descrizione di un altro abito da sposa.
It was adorned with some ten thousand seed pearls – all of which were stitched on by hand.
Queste sono perle vere e proprie, ma cercando in vari siti trovo solo come traducente "perline" essendo di piccole dimensioni. Il problema è che si confonderebbe con altre perline ornamentali.
