Art/Literary - Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting | | English term or phrase: carved red satin | nella didascalia di un'illustrazione raffigurante una peonia in un vaso, trovo la frase:
"the crackles of the porcelain and the carved red satin are both vivid and exquisite".
purtroppo non ho a disposizione l'illustrazione, so solo che si tratta di un vaso della dinastia cinese Qing.
la frase che precede, che non credo serva, dice "the present picture has realistic style in modeling".
qualche idea?
