Si parla di un cambio continuo (CVT continuously variable transmission) di tipo a cinghia. Mi pare di aver capito che i "roller weights" e "a spring and a torque cam" sono gli attuatori che provocano la variazione di diametro delle pulegge. Ma, mentre i primi sono chiamati semplicemente rulli in italiano, per il secondo ho trovato solo un generico "attuatore a molla di contrasto", ma non capisco a cosa corrisponde esattamente in inglese.
