Automotive / Cars & Trucks / corso di e-learning | | English term or phrase: ply-lining | A local distribution business has operated on an owner-operator basis for several years. The owner has won a contract that means they need more vans to accommodate national and international travel.
You recognise that the customer hasn’t thought through the implications. The vehicles will tow trailers and their combined weight means a tachograph has to be fitted; regulations on drivers’ hours mean the vans will need to accommodate one passenger comfortably, possibly more on some journeys.
Additionally, you identify ply-lining and point of sale equipment that is needed, building a more profitable sale. |
