Sempre riguardo la generazione di animali transgenici con la metodica del gene targeting (bersagliamento genico), come tradurre "targeted cell" o "targeted clone"? Sarebbero le cellule correttamente ricombinate... ma un termine più intuitivo?

Se vuoi qualcosa di semplicemente intuitivo, direi che "modificato" o "manipolato" potrebbero funzionare. Ricombinante mi piace, ma in genere è riferito a proteine, meno a cellule.
