credo che si tratti del chapter 11 della legge USA sul fallimento.
In pratica è una 'protezione', ma forse meglio dire limitazione di cui godono le società a responsabilità limitata (l'equivalente americano) nel pagamento dei debiti verso terzi.
Nell'ambito di quanto disposto da tale norma, si risponde fino a concorrenza di quello che è il capitale sociale (corrispondente americano).
Insomma, praticamente credo che dire 'ha dichiarato fallimento' sia più che sufficiente.
Si capisce qualcosa? ;-P
