they all correspond to buying/selling signals for this security but nobody knows because chart analysis isn't an exact science,lost enough money to know!
imagine a shoulder, the head, the other shoulder and you see the shape
it means that this security value rose for a while and came back to its initial position

The italian term is about the same as in french and english, "figura testa spalle", as I found browsing the net.
