English to Italian translations [Non-PRO]
Business/Commerce (general)
English term or phrase: if you require us to .... we would be glad to....
In the italian can I use:
qualora ci richieda di fare una certa cosa, sareMo (future) lieti di farla
instead of
qualora ci richieda di fare una certa cosa, sareMMo lieti di farla (conditional)
Simona
Italian translation:MM
Explanation:
qualora[qua-ló-ra] cong.

• Nell'eventualità, se mai, nel caso; introduce una frase insieme ipotetica e temporale con il v. al congiunt. (in usi letterari, elevati o burocratici): q. non si raggiungesse il numero legale, la seduta sarebbe rinviata

owing to the double nature of qualora (hypothetical and temporal) the future is accepted in certain istances:
qualora lei accetti la nostra conferma, le invieremo un nostro catalogo.

However, the conditional is never wrong and often a must, so go for it if you don`t want to risk. Your sentence, for example, requires the conditional.

Auguri ;-)
