Asker: Sì, ho pensato anche io a tradurlo letteralmente, ma non mi convince perché non capisco "da cosa" sia/debba essere esente tale persona (IVA?). Guardando un po' in giro non trovo ricorrenze di "persona esente" senza specifiche di ciò da cui lo è... quindi mi è venuto il dubbio che fosse un termine specifico del settore e che avesse un traducente diverso.
