neutral  Fabrizio Zambuto: in questo caso non è questo il significato, (da Wikipedia):Write-off is also used in vehicle insurance to describe a vehicle which is cheaper to replace than to repair, sometimes colloquially referred to as being "totaled" (a total loss).

neutral  James (Jim) Davis: Never heard of "totalled" used like that. The UK colloquial is "Oh expletive, it is a total write-off". People use it without always knowing the accounting origins of the word.
