Sto traducendo un riassunto di una presentazione e dopo il nome dell'autore trovo BSc Hons, MSc.

BSc Hons dovrebbe essere una laurea con lode se non sbaglio. Ma vi sarei grata se mi deste qualche conferma/alternativa.

Explanation:
After the name of a person, you should just leave them as they are and put them in corsivo. A BSc (hons) is a usually for a four year degree in Scotland, while in England it is usually for all three year degrees, unless the person nearly failed the exam when the (hons) was removed. The nearest Italian equivalent is to put "dott" in front of the name to indicate a normal university degree. However, then you immediately run into the problem of the "MSc" which is a higher degree, but not as high as a PhD (generally translated as dottorato).
