Hai ragione, single shot. Non ci avevo fatto caso, ma potrebbe essere un typo di wikipedia.
Ieri, che avevo visto la domanda e avevo cercato qualcosa, avevo trovato dei riferimenti in spagnolo, che forse ti aiutano, non so..

Asker: grazie ma vedo che "criostato" "criostatica" si riferiscono sempre ad ambiti ospedalieri/medici. Penso sia piuttosto "criogenico". Poi sarebbe "single shot", non "single shoot"...
