English term or phrase:to clear the gutters
It's a list of common man actions...let's say...
"(...)washing the car, family Christmas, indexed pension, tax exemption, clearing the gutters, getting by, looking ahead, to the day you die". Is that "clearing the gutters" some idiomatic expression, or it simply means literally what it means (something like "pulire la grondaia" in italian?!)? thanks....
La sceneggiatura completa tradotta in italiano non si trova...o almeno...chi mi ha commissionato il lavoro non l'ha trovata... Probabilmente in qualche libreria specialistica, altrimenti non saprei...
