Art/Literary - Cinema, Film, TV, Drama / entertainment | | English term or phrase: boxed in | Un CEO parla della sua visione creativa e aziendale e spiega che in prima battuta bisogna rendersi conto della dimensioni della "scatola" finanziaria che necessita (financial box). Poi spiega che a volte avere un budget limitato è positivo perché stimola la creatività (stiamo parlando di prodotti per il settore media & entertainment).
Indi spiega tutte le sue idee, porta concreti esempi basati sulla sua esperienza, e la frase che chiude l'articolo è:
"You’ll be delighted by inspiring ideas you discover once you are all boxed in."
Mi chiedo se ci sia un significato figurato per "to be boxed in". Significa semplicemente "una volta che sarete dentro alla scatola"/"una volta che dovrete stare nella scatola" (nel senso di farcela con il budget a disposizione, anche se limitato)? |

Secondo me il significato è figurato. Nel senso (doppio) che dici tu e anche nel senso di "starci dentro"/"essere in quella siruazione e viverla in prima persona"

Si, mi sembra proprio un gioco di parole tra i due significati. Però per quanto riguarda la traduzione, questo è uno dei casi in cui chiederei spiegazioni sul senso vero e proprio. Giusto per essere sicuri.
