ed ecco tanti siti Web della versione francese (châssis de l'ordinateur)
i francesi usano esclusivamente terminologia francese in informatica e "computer" è "ordinateur".

Allorchè « case » in inglese ha un altro senso per i computer e soprattutto altre traduzioni (7 in francese, le trovi sul GTD, qui sotto – sono francese madrelingua e posso affermare che nessuno di questi termini in francese corrisponde al « telaio » italiano, che sarebbe « châssis » in francese)

Io direi che potresti lasciarlo così(châssis e case vengono indicati come sinonimi:il più usato è case comunque )....ormai è entrato a far parte del lessico "italiano" almeno per quanto riguarda il mondo informatico...

Eviterei telaio del computer a meno che non sia una traduzione estremamente tecnica (legata proprio all'hardware o all'assemblaggio dei componenti...)
