La frase completa è la seguente:
If a Scotsman complains that the Gimp “cannae take any more Cap’n,” don’t believe him.
Il contesto è quello di una procedura guidata per realizzare un'effetto particolare con il software Gimp, ma credo che questo sia un modo di dire. L'autore è spesso ironico.
Io mi sono fermato a questa traduzione: Se uno scozzese si lamenta che Gimp "non può prendere più ...", non credetegli, dove Cap'n dà il senso a tutta la frase.
