Scusa, non sono stato molto chiaro... Giorgio Testa era un ragazzo (il classico genio, ad essere precisi) che frequentava la SSLMIT con me e nel precedente messaggio ringraziavo il Giorgio Testa che qui mi ha dato la risposta che cercavo. Questo kudoz sembra quasi una chat... :o)

ecco quanto mi � stato risposto da chi si occupa della documentazione:
"'orphan strings' refer to strings in the project TMX that
were previously translated. Then, for some reason, these strings have been changed
or removed in the source file(s) that correspond to the TMX. Usually the original
source files have been edited in a way that breaks the segment according to the
already stored segment in the TMX. Basically, these strings are in the TMX and now
do not correspond to segments as they used to. Therefore they are orphans (their
parent segment seems to be missing)."

Grazie Massimo. In realt� sto gi� collaborando direttamente con il team di sviluppo di OmT ed ho gi� chiesto chiarimenti a loro, ma chieder� anche qui qualche consiglio su certi dubbi. :o)
