Si fa riferimento probabilmente (visto il contesto un po' limitato... ) al Number translation service (vedi i link citati): l'instradamento ( o routing) di una chiamata senza identificativo geografico verso un numero unico (ad esempio come succede con i numeri verdi) o mobile
Per quanto riguarda la traduzione, personalmente lascerei il termine in inglese, visto che in rete non ci sono riscontri precisi del termine ma solo per quanto riguarda Nts :
