The Regulations implementa a requirement in the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 for Welsh Ministers to publish standards for the construction of new foul sewers and lateral drains. The standards provide a high-level statement of the functionality expected of gravity foul sewers covering matters such as layout and access (for example including inspection and man access chambers), reliabilityhydraulic design (including protection against flooding), structural design and integrity, materials, construction and testing. The industry guidance contains examples and includes extensive references to BS and EN standards.

in IATE (puoi verificare tu stessa) Manhole viene tradotto sia come pozzetto che come passo d'uomo... ed infatti sono sinonimi ... [altro link con immagini: http://www.romold.it/system_technique.html ]
la cosa che ho scoperto googlando è che ogni camera di ispezione ha un pozzetto d'accesso ... quindi un'altra soluzione potrebbe essere pozzetti di accesso al passo d'uomo e camere di ispezione
