eccedenza/extra Explanation: secondo me è la moquette in eccesso (di solito una manciata di cm) rispetto alla misura richiesta che viene fornito incluso nel prezzo per permettere di installare la moquette da muro a muro con precisione. Viene steso e poi tagliato (cut off). es: mi servono 4 metri, mi danno 4,05 metri. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 52 mins (2016-05-06 20:29:37 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- https://books.google.it/books?id=bMNMSXnbS14C&pg=PA500&lpg=P... Next, they roll out, measure, mark, and cut the carpet, allowing for 2 to 3 inches of extra carpet for the final fitting. ... They then cut off the excess carpet. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 53 mins (2016-05-06 20:30:20 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- infine si taglia la moquette in eccesso |

scampoli Explanation: Appropriate quantities of cut-off is to be included in the unit rates - when carpet [it is the same with textiles] is being laid, it is usual that the lengthes of carpet used do not match exactly the length of the material avaiblable - these extra unusable bits are cut-offs [example from Youtube Fabric textile cut offs shredding - YouTube www.youtube.com/watch?v=emNjEefwjTw]. These have to be taken into account when getting the basic material in procuring more carpet that the actual surface. In textiles these cut-offs are scampoli and that should fit carpet cut-off too. |
