Explanation:
Non penso che il burro sia fatto con il latte di mandorle. Credo, piuttosto, che sia un burro aromatizzato alle mandorle. Esistono svariati burri aromatizzati, tra cui anche quello con le mandorle.

Credo che il burro di mandorle sia per uso cosmetico e che la salsa sia fatta con burro e mandorle.

Aspargus with almond butter sauce

Preparation:

Cook the asparagus in boiling salted water until tender; drain well. In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Add almonds and cook until golden brown, about 6 or 7 minutes. Remove from heat; add lemon juice and salt. Pour sauce over hot cooked asparagus.

Intendo dire, il burro di mandorle per uso alimentare esiste, da spalmare sul pane, come il burro di arachidi che tra l'altro viene utilizzato anche per preparare biscotti o addirittura nel chili, però le ricette che ho trovato di "almond butter aspargus" dicono di utilizzare burro e mandorle a lamelle.
Lo so, la dicitura corretta sarebbe almond-butter sauce.
