English to Italian translations [Non-PRO]

English term or phrase: Modern Language
Si tratta del titolo del corso universitario che attualmente lo studente sta frequentando: "BA (Hons) Modern Language". Il mio problema e' che non riesco a capire perche' e' al singolare. In italiano non ho mai sentito dire "corso di laurea in Lingua moderna". Any help?

Non è un refuso: in inglese rimane al singolare. In francese per es. la dicitura è ancora diversa ("langues vivantes").

Guardano in giro, ci sono altri siti in cui si studia più di una lingua e il programma è più simile al nostro di Lingue. Probabilmente in USA le università sono più indipendenti!

agree  tradugrace: non lo è infatti assomiglia di più ad una scuola superiore (post liceo) per interpreti e traduttori

  -> ora è una laurea in traduzione e interpretariato (poi c'è anche quella in mediazione linguistica...)
