da quanto ho capito si tratta di una sorta di consorzio tra le 6 università del Sud Dakota, con un gruppo di "rettori" che prendono le varie decisioni. Non credo esista un termine consolidato.

dopo molto pensare mi è venuto in mente questo. ovvero mi sembra che quella università detti le regole per tutte le altre.quindi mi è venuto in mente capofila. poi sono andata a controllare se c'era qualche riscontro e in effetti ne ho trovati. vedi ad esempio http://www.uniba.it/offerta-formativa/postlaurea/specializza... dove si dice che la capofila è la sede amministrativa. ora questo non significa necessariamente che detti le regole ma forse sì. ad esempio nella mia università c'è una capofila e le sedi staccate che si adeguano al programma della capofila.
