So che la parola non è difficile, ma conoscendo alcune preferenze per "disposizione", secondo me in questo contesto suona male e quindi vorrei chiedervi un parere:
"The invention provides an apparatus for use in a vehicle, having a heated cavity for foodstuffs, the heated cavity having an air inlet and an air outlet, and the apparatus comprising an air feed condiut for feeding an air feed into the heated cavity through the air inlet and a heating ARRANGEMENT for heating the air feed before it is fed into the heated cavity, the heating ARRANGEMENT comprising a heating device that is electrically powered... the heating arrangement comprises a further heating device whereby the air feed is heated by the first and second heating devices in series."

Explanation:
Ciao Gianluca,

io rimarrei sul generico con qualcosa tipo sistema o unità, in fondo poi viene spiegato in che cosa consiste. Dispositivo purtroppo non penso sia adatto, perché questo arrangement è poi composto da due device, per i quali userei dispositivo.

Come ha proposto chemwiz, anche 'modulo' è piuttosto generico e potrebbe essere adatto. Non sono sicura però che si possa usare vano o zona, perché da quanto hai riportato non si può sapere se si tratta di un vano o zona, che implicherebbero un concetto un po' diverso.
