English term or phrase: high side out

In testo descrittivo di carrelli elevatori trovo, nella sezione dedicata a troubleshooting leggo nell'elenco della spiegazione degli errori:
A short-circuit has been detected - "high side out".
The main contactor is open.
Check the connections and wiring harness.
Non vi è contesto ulteriore, è un elenco di errori e gli altri non hanno nulla a che fare con questo.
Il testo in inglese è tradotto dallo svedese e vedo che anche nel testo svedese si utilizzava l'espressione inglese high side out.
Io vorrei mantenere high side out nel testo italiano ma magari mettere una spiegazione a fianco.
