Offset quindi non è un verbo, ma l'aggettivo di "well".
Non ti avevo dato abbastanza contesto.
Dato che non avevo idea che esistesse un tipo di pozzo "offset" (tra parentesi, non ho trovato una traduzione)ero convinta appunto che fosse un verbo e non riuscivo a capire la frase dal punto di vista sintattico.
