Intrex Fluidizing Air Rotameters: Examine the position of floats in rotameters to set points and adjust accordingly. Some plants ***loop gill fluidizing air racks*** are designed to use service air safely to help clear a plugged fluidizing nozzle. Check with your supervisor if in doubt on your plant. If a rotameter flow is "bottomed out," the operator must hook up service air to that individual nozzle(s) to clear any blockage. If rotameter float is bouncing excessively inside the rotameter, the operator must decrease flow of air through rotameter until bouncing is eliminated. Then slowly open block valve until set point is reached. Even air flow through the fluidizing nozzles is essential for smooth circulation of bed material through the **gill** seals.

Ho due problemi:
1) rack non è cremagliera, l'impianto non ha nulla del genere che io sappia. Ho pensato fosse un modo piuttosto scorretto per dire grid dato che invece una air grid c'è eccome, ma ho dei dubbi.
2) non capisco cosa sia questo gill, come si vede alla fine è riferito a dei non meglio specificati 'gill seals' (finora ha sempre parlato di wall seal: forse sinonimi?).
