trovo questa frase ripetutamente, ma l'ho trovata solo qui, praticamente alla fine del lavoro.
"when the dvr is triggered by alarm or motion, the COM connects with NO and the siren with strobe starts wailing and flashing"
oppure, in altro punto
"external alarm com: under normal operation, COM disconnects with NO. But when any alarm is triggered, COM connects with NO."

Penso che NO stia per "Normally open" (NA - normalmente aperto in italiano). COM potrebbe stare per Common (Comune in italiano). In uno schema di collegamento i contatti possono infatti essere: comune, normalmente aperto e normalmente chiuso. Quanto a connect/disconnect, visto che si tratta di collegamenti elettrici puri sarebbe meglio usare "collegare" invece di "connettere", ma ormai anche il secondo è largamente utilizzato.
