Tech/Engineering - Engineering (general) | | English term or phrase: allen-head bolts | Premesso che ho capito che si tratta di bulloni a testa esagonale con una cavità e che sono più leggeri dei bulloni a testa esagonale normale, come si chiamano in italiano?
Ho trovato su un glossario per il legno:
Chiave Allen - Una barretta d'acciaio a sezione esagonale e piegata ad L, con la quale si girano i bulloni che hanno la testa incavata in modo corrispondente.
Il che mi fa pensare che anche i bulloni possano chiamarsi Allen, ma non sono molto convinta.

Brugola è il nome del produttore italiano di queste viti (la dicitura viti è più frequente) mentre Allen è il nome dell'ingegnere che le ha inventate.
Va bene anche vite/bullone a testa esagonale cava, sono due alternative!
