Laura, credo di sì, anche perché il mandato, di per sé, è uno strumento utilizzato in linea di massima da investitori abbienti, con un certo patrimonio da investire. Altrimenti investono in fondi, etc.
Inoltre, è ormai considerato un termine "normale" nel settore, pur potendo essere tradotto semplicemente con "rendimento assoluto".

Guardando poi meglio la frase, la gestione discrezionale di portafogli è un servizio rivolto a chi se lo può permettere e non riguarda certo il piccolo investitore inesperto.
