lavoro su un testo riguardante le birre e la loro produzione:
"xxx is a cuckoo brewer, borrowing facilities at the brew company in xxx to produce intensely hoppy bears, which tipically contain 90 international bittering units"

A cuckoo brewer is one that uses free space at other breweries rather than brewing from their own dedicated brewery. Sometimes referred to as nomadic brewing.

allora ho cercato un pò in rete e parlano di questo personaggio:

Mikkel è un birraio nomade, che produce in diversi birrifici in Danimarca, in Europa e negli Stati Uniti e ha la sua birreria Mikkeller Bar nel centro di Vesterbro a Copenaghen. A Mikkeller Bar, aperto tutti i giorni della settimana, trovate 15 spine per sipllare birra da quella Mikkeller a le migliori birre del mondo, il formaggio, spuntini e una selezione specializzata in bottiglia. Dieci dei rubinetti alla spina sono della birra della casa.

Explanation:
un'alternativa, formata sulla falsariga dell' artigiano ambulante (maniscalco, magnano ecc.) anche se "nomade" mi pare più suggestivo

neutral  SYLVY75: Hmm... non credo si riferisca al fatto che il tizio va 'in giro' a vendere la birra, bensì al fatto che non utilizza un proprio birrificio, affidando il suo prodotto a birrifici diversi (come il cuculo affida il proprio uovo ad altri uccelli per covarlo).
