infatti qui dice che si tratta di forme che appaiono due volte tranne in un caso. E bisogna scoprire quale appare da solo (spot the singleton-scova il solitario o una cosa del genere)

"Drat and double drat!" is simply the emphatic form of "Drat!" ~ "Accidenti!"
It is used here because of the fact that the puzzle involves duplicated shapes, hence a title including the word "double". Another (possibly better...) option in English would have been "Double Trouble!"
My suggested titles for the puzzle retain the sense of "double", without actually relating in any way to the "drat" (which is fairly irrelevant here in any case).
