Chi, pertanto, avrebbe ricevuto il maggior riconoscimento per una soluzione soddisfacente alla carestia, se non non la riforma agraria operata sotto il controllo di Tiberio, il più indipendente questore di Ostia?
Non sono sicura ma credo che in questo caso si stia parlando di Tiberio Sempronio Gracco (figlio di Tiberio) che operò un'importante riforma agraria per una migliore ridistribuzione delle terre.
Io ho tradotto carestia,senza specificare il termine grain, perchè come carestia, all'epoca dell'antica Roma, era sottinteso una carestia di cereali, essendo questi l'alimento base. Bisognerebbe verificare se ci fu effetivamente una vera e propria carestia del grano all'epoca di Tiberio Gracco.
