Per l'espressione "Communal farm", avvalendomi dell'ausilio di Internet avrei pensato alla traduzione "Fabbriche di armi." Torno a fornirvi un pò più di contesto: "The youth of the nations, enlisted for a limited term, should learn in federal factories, in public works, on communal farms, the skill of production in patience rather than the craft of destruction in terror". Ovviamente, per chi abbia letto la domanda precedente è lo stesso di prima.

La mia idea è soltanto "cooperativa agricola", non mi addentro in spiegazioni perché purtroppo non ne so di più e non vorrei dire stranezze. Forse è anche come dice Francesco.

Asker: Scusate, ma c'è qualcosa che non torna. i "Kibbutz", che io sappia, erano tipici delle economie pianificate, oppure della realtà israeliana, dove so, fra l'altro, che ora sono in crisi.
Questo discorso vorrebbe sicuramente essere di più ampio respiro.
