Quindi nel primo caso "che vuoi che lo capisca o lo sappia una volta per tutte", e nel secondo "lo ha capito" o "metabolizzato"? Grazie in anticipo per qualsiasi suggerimento

Uno dei significati di "to fix" è "risolvere" ed è proprio con questo significato che il verbo viene usato in questo contesto.
Caso 1: ... si farà l'idea che ciò che cerchi da lui è che ti aiuti a risolvere tutti i tuoi problemi/ risolva tutti i tuoi problemi (o difetti).
Caso 2: ... gli dici in modo calmo e conciso dove sta il problema e che vi rivedrete quando l'avrà risolto.
Occhio, la mia traduzion delle due parti di frasi non è particolarmente bella, è solo per farti capire come renderei il "to fix".
