Non capisco il senso di questo termine nel seguente contesto:

In effetti "pratictioner" é chiunque pratichi una certa professione/arte/mestiere. In questo caso il termine moderno (che trovo sempre piuttosto brutto, comunque) é forse meglio perchè più generale. Buon lavoro!

Explanation:
Il poco contesto che vediamo non ci permette di capire se si faccia riferimento (come io credo) a casi di assistenza e protezione prestata a profughi e vittime di conflitti internazionali o civili ma, se la fattispecie è proprio questa, mi sentirei di consigliare un termine simile oppure "personale medico specializzato".
